ADMAfter a week-long layoff, the Tigers volleyball squad will be back on the court for another conference match tonight.

ADM hosts Ballard at 6pm, and head coach Mary Beth Scott would love to see her team’s record remain unblemished in conference play.

Ballard is one of the weaker teams in the Raccoon River Conference, as the Bombers are just 3-9 on the season and have lost four of their last five matches.  Scott says it will be important for her players to execute their own game plan and not sink down to the level of their competition in tonight’s match.

“Ballard, they’re not as strong as some of the other teams, but again they’re gonna certainly come with their own game plan.  We have to make sure that we play our way and that’s what I really stress to the girls–no matter what teams do to us, we just have to adjust and we still have to play our way and attack the ball.  I felt like at Boone, sometimes we went into too much defense, and I’m like, ‘you’re not gonna win games unless you play some offense.  You’ve got to put the ball down’.”
