Bowlers at Spare Time Lanes in Jefferson have been flirting recently with perfection and Neil Mc Dowell of Jefferson reached it on October 8. McDowell rolled a perfect 300 game in Men’s League action. The “perfecto” (12 strikes in 12 attempts) was the fourth of his career and the first this season rolled in Jefferson. McDowell finished with a 699 series.

Two others bowled 700+ series that night with Steve Ogren at 724 and Roger Ott rolling a 710. Ott had a high game of 279 and Ogren’s top effort was a 257.
