The number 13 has taken on new significance for Men’s City League bowlers at Spare Time Lanes in Jefferson. That’s because 13 men rolled series of over 600 on Oct. 15. Bob Heath, Jr. rolled a 601 series and had just the thirteenth best night on the synthetic lanes. John Woodford led the way with a series of 698, which included a 277 game. Others and their series totals were: Kurtis Prescott 679, Steve Lee 675, Craig Heckman 673, Ray Stanton 672, Kevin Kipp 670, Bob Heath, Sr. 658, Kevin Sherlock 652, Michael Murphy 624, Frank Adamson 618,  Steve Ogren 610, and Roger Ott 606.
