murder at cafe noirThe interactive murder mystery, “Murder at Cafe Noir” is this weekend at the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson.

The cast includes seven local people from Greene County such as Darren Jackson and Teresa Cross and it is directed by the president of the Greene County Community Players Board Clay Ross.

Secretary Cross says there are two new additions to the fall production.  One is that they wanted to include audience interaction with the characters and the other is serving dessert at the end of the performance.

She explains an interesting part that takes place during the last intermission of the show.

“During the last break, we’re going to have the audience members write down who they think actually committed the murder.  After the show is done, we’re going to draw from the correct answers and we’re going to give them two tickets to the spring production that we are going to do which is The Sound of Music.”

You can purchase a ticket for the either the Friday or Saturday night performances at 7pm for $10 at any of the banks in Jefferson.
