It’s been a few seasons since a Greene County (formerly Jefferson-Scranton/Paton-Churdan) football team won four games in a row, but a win by the Rams in Ida Grove tonight vs. OABCIG would accomplish the feat. If the Rams get a victory, it would also put them in the Class 2A playoffs, and more than likely would allow them to finish second place in District 8 and host a game at Linduska Field in the first playoff round on Oct. 30. A loss could to the Falcons could mean anywhere from a third or fourth place finish in the district to placing fifth and missing the playoffs.

Both Greene County and OABCIG are 4-4 overall, but the Rams are 3-2 in the district while the Falcons are 2-3. A win by the Rams knocks the Falcons completely out of the playoff picture.

Coverage on KG98 starts at 6 p.m. with kickoff at 7 p.m.
