Alice Wicker of Grimes was traveling on R30 when she was stopped to turn left onto 220th St. when her vehicle was struck by Kyle Patterson of West Des Moines. Wicker was transported to Methodist West Hospital by the Dallas County Ambulance. Damage to Wicker’s vehicle estimated at $5000.00 and damage to Patterson’s vehicle estimated at $10,000.00. Patterson was cited for failure to stop within the assured clear distance.
