volleyballThe ADM volleyball team got together for its end-of-season awards banquet on Sunday to cap off the 2013 campaign.

As voted on by their teammates, senior Haley Schepers, a first-team Raccoon River Conference selection, was named the Tigers’ Most Valuable Player.  Schepers’ versatile skill-set allowed her to rack up the second most kills for ADM and the third most digs on the team.

Torrie Hook was named Best Offensive Player while Maddie Powers garnered the Best Defensive Player honor.  Hook, a unanimous first-team All-Conference pick and a second-team All-Stater, led ADM with 285 kills on the year. Powers, also a first-team All-Conference honoree, led the Tigers in the digs department, collecting 399 on the season.  She ended her four-year Tigers’ career with more than 1,000 digs.

Junior Abby Merschman was named Most Improved while young freshman Sydney Bertman was the recipient of the “Tiger Pride” award.
