The West Central Valley School District Board of Directors will meet this evening for their December session.

The Board will begin the meeting by reviewing financial reports and approving bills as is customary.

Next, the Board will review a few personnel changes.  Superintendent Dr. David Arnold says three new contracts will be considered, as well as a staff retirement and a resignation.

A representative from the West Central Valley Youth Football League will then address the Board to discuss the possibility of fixing up the Middle School football field, concession stands and surrounding facilities.

The Board will then take action regarding an EMC insurance claim.  Dr. Arnold says the Board was able to recover some funds through the insurance claim following last year’s PTO theft, and now members must take action with those recuperated funds and decide what that money will be put toward.

Finally, the Board will continue with its discussion about how best to welcome new families when they enter the district.
