Three people have been charged in connection with the criminal mischief cases in Grand Junction that we previously reported here at Raccoon Valley Radio.
Greene County Deputy Dave Kersey, the case manager, says 17 year-olds Jacob Vreugdenhill and Dylan Lansman both from Grand Junction, were arrested yesterday following an investigation for 18 cases of vehicles and homes damaged by a BB gun.
Kersey adds that 18 year-old Joshua Blumberg also from Grand Junction, has an arrest warrant issued and will be apprehended when he is released from a Des Moines hospital due to an illness.
Kersey states that all three subjects were involved in allegedly damaging 14 vehicles and four homes with a BB gun in Grand Junction from December 23rd through 29th.
Vregudenhill is charged with a Class D Felony for second degree criminal mischief and a Class C Felony for second degree burglary for breaking into a resident’s home and stealing undisclosed items in Grand Junction during that same time period.
Lansman is charged with a Class D Felony for criminal mischief, aiding and abetting. Kersey notes that both were referred to the Juvenile Correctional Facility in Eldora. Blumberg is charged with a Class D Felony for criminal mischief, aiding and abetting.
All three are awaiting trial dates. Kersey is unable to confirm if the three individuals are in connection with the BB gun incidents that occurred in Jefferson with the investigation still ongoing by the police department.
Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
