ADMThe ADM basketball teams were swept in their varsity doubleheader on the road last night by the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays.

To start off the varsity doubleheader, the ADM girls lost their sixth consecutive game by a final score of 64-38.  With the loss, the Tigers are now 4-8 on the season.

Madi Bertman was the lone scorer in double-figures for ADM—she finished with 11 points.

On the boys side, the Tigers held a 39-31 halftime lead, but things changed quickly when Robbie Sloss picked up his fourth foul of the night with 6:56 left in the third quarter.  To that point, the eldest Sloss brother had been ADM’s main offensive threat, scoring 13 points in the first half.

With him on the bench the rest of the third quarter though, Bondurant-Farrar went on an 18-4 run to take a 49-43 lead into the fourth quarter.  The Bluejays were then able to make enough free throws down the stretch to pull off the 75-69 come from behind win.

Logan Essy did all he could to keep the Tigers in it late, finishing with 28 points to lead all scorers.

The Tiger boys fell to 3-9 overall with the loss, their third in a row.

ADM’s boys and girls teams will both be back in action Tuesday, for a home varsity doubleheader against Pella.
