Over the next few weeks, Panorama Elementary students will be studying communities in their classrooms.  Students will learn about how all parts of a community work together and about how cities are mapped.  Plus, they will learn ways in which they can be good citizens in their hometowns.

As part of their community unit, the Panorama Elementary Administration is asking that community leaders and business owners in the district–so individuals from the towns of Panora, Yale, Jamaica, Bagley or Linden–come in to speak to students beginning on February 18th, to share their insights about the leadership, planning and business aspects of their respective towns.

It is recommended that presentations run between 30 and 40 minutes in length and allow for a question and answer session.

Any residents from the aforementioned towns interested in participating in Panorama Elementary’s community unit should coordinate with first grade teachers Danielle Johnston or Jo Ann Eason.  To get in contact with them, call the elementary school at 641-755-2021.
