Michael Robert McAuliffe, age 48 of 15215 Brookshire Dr., Urbandale was arrested on a warrant for simple assault.

 Zaneta Janen Taylor, age 23 of 1928 9th St., Apt. 2, Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for probation violation-original charge of assault.

 Laurie Mullen of Minburn was stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of J Ave and Highway 44 when she was struck by a vehicle driven by Dodge Perrigo of Redfield.  Perrigo was traveling east on Highway 44, turning onto J Ave when he hit the snow covered roadway and began to slide striking Mullen’s vehicle.  No injuries reported.  Damage to Mullen’s vehicle estimated at $1500.00 and no damage to Perrigo’s.

 Oscar Perez-Lopez age 25 of 2801 1st St., Lot 21, Perry was arrested at the intersection of Highway 169 and 141 for driving while barred.

 A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
