The 2014 high school golf teams from Greene County High School have started practice. Keith Vander Wilt returns as the girls’ coach and Dave Destival is back as coach of the  boys. Both squads were very inexperienced in 2013, but both squads return more experience this season and the coaches are hoping for an improvement in scores.

The 2014 schedule shows the girls playing home meets at The Hill near Grand Junction while the boys will have home meets at Lakeside near Grand Junction and in Jefferson at the Jefferson Community Golf Course. The season is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 7 vs. Carroll High with the boys playing at Jefferson Community Golf Course and the girls meet being held in Carroll.
