The Atlantic Golf & Country Club was the site of a Class 3A girls’ golf District tournament on Monday. Atlantic won the 18-hole event with 365 strokes and Clarinda was second at 399.

Greene County had just two girls play and four are needed for a team score. Dakota Larson shot 118 and foreign exchange student Rahaf Ruby shot 131.

Medalist was Atlantic’s Brooke Fletcher with a 78, Emily Wagner of West Central Valley (Stuart) also advanced to Regional play next with by finishing in fourth place at 98.
