The Adel Public Library is busy preparing for their annual Friends of the Library Book Sale.
The fundraiser takes place each year during the weekend of the Adel Sweet Corn Festival.
Anyone can browse the sale Saturday August 9th from 9am to 4pm but only friends can get in on Friday between 10am and 5pm. However, becoming a friend is easy. All it takes is a $5 annual donation to the library.
All proceeds from the sale go to support library programming.
It takes place in the community room and the library itself will be closed during the festival on August 9th.
