A reminder for Jefferson residents who are planning on having a garage sale this weekend to notify the Greene County Chamber to receive extra exposure.

Director Chris Henning says the Jefferson city-wide garage sales are happening this year in conjunction with the 4th Annual swap meet at the fairgrounds.

Those Jefferson residents interested in having their own garage sale while other people are in town may also contact the Chamber to be added to a growing list of other garage sales by the end of the day today.  You must provide the address of the garage sale and when you will be having it.

The lists will be made available at the Chamber office in Jefferson at 220 North Chestnut Street and distributed to all convenience stores in the City by Friday afternoon.  It will be going on this Friday and Saturday.
