The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.
The Council is expected to award the contract for water and sewer extensions to the northwest corner of US Highway 30 and Iowa Highway 4 as well as extensions to North Mulberry and water line replacement at Wall Street following public hearings for each project.
The Council will also consider approving the final pay estimate to Fort Dodge Asphalt for work completed on last year’s Washington Street overlay project, hiring a new audit firm for the 2013-14 fiscal year, appointing an individual to the Jefferson Library Board of Trustees, purchasing the property at 407 West Lincoln Way, a $2,000 demolition reimbursement from the Neighborhood Improvement Incentive Program at 607 West Washington Street and making an adjustment to sewer charges at 1205 Southfield Drive.
Plus, there will be a discussion about financial incentives for Cobblestone Hotel that will be attached to Wild Rose Jefferson when it is built.
The meeting will be at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
