If you have never taken advantage of the amenities available at the McCreary Community Building in Perry, new Parks and Recreation Director Jeff Lamoureux says you’re missing out.

He says there’s no reason to drive into the city for a work out or a game with friends when you can do it all right here.

“We have a fantastic facility, with the indoor swimming pool open year round.  The gymnasium is open, expect when we have a few programs in there, so come in and shoot hoops or there’s opportunities for fitness and wellness in there too.  We have a number of part time fitness coordinators that do classes if you’re into that, or if you want to just work out on your own our fitness room is fantastic and we’re a great staff, friendly staff who tries to be inviting to the public and set an atmosphere where people want to come to” says Lamoureux.

But if there’s something you feel is missing, Lamoureux says just let them know as they’re always open to programming suggestions.
