A reminder that the Big Red Barn Home and Craft Show is this weekend in Jefferson.

Greene County Chamber Director Chris Henning says the event attracts crafters and vendors from across the state and for a third year, it will also feature home shows such as Pampered Chef and Scentsy plus many others.

There will be more than 50 vendors in two buildings at the Greene County Fairgrounds this Saturday, September 20th from 9am-4pm.  Henning points out that there’s free parking and a $3 admission charge for adults and children get in for free.

She states that with every paid admission, participants will get a chance to win chamber checks and other door prizes from area businesses.  And with every paid admission, you will receive a green wristband that can be used for free admission to the Mahanay Bell Tower which will have special tour hours from noon-4pm on Friday and 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Henning comments that three Chamber members are also having special events at Country Blessings with their Fall Extravaganza on Friday and Saturday, Deal’s Orchard is having their Old Fashioned Days on Saturday and Sunday and John 15 Vineyard Meeting and Retreat Center is hosting their annual open house.  She talks about using the craft show wristband at these other locations.

“Let’s the people at Country Blessings, Deal’s Orchard, John 15 (Vineyard), all of the places uptown know that you’ve been at the Red Barn (Home and Craft Show) so if they have a super special for Red Barn, there you go, you’re already identified as one.”

Henning encourages everyone to spend the weekend in Greene County with everything that is happening in the community.
