We’re just 22 days away from this year’s general election and Perry area residents have the opportunity skip the lines on November 4th and vote today.
The Dallas County Auditor’s office is opening up a satellite voting location at the Perry Public Library this afternoon. Anyone who lives in the county can stop by between noon and 6pm to cast their absentee ballots.
Voters will be electing officials to represent them on county agricultural extension councils, the hospital board of trustees, county offices and judicial offices, along with state and national government. Dallas County residents will also be voting on whether or not to approve bond referendums for a new county administrative building and law enforcement facility.
If you have questions call the Auditor’s office at 993-6950. Sample ballots can be found HERE.
