Hayley BrownA trial date has been set for a Jefferson woman who is accused of 93 counts of unlawful use of a credit card and several other felony charges.

We’ve previously reported that 23 year-old Hayley Lynn Brown was accused of stealing two people’s identity and using their checks and credit cards at various locations ranging from Carroll to West Des Moines from July 31st through August 1st.

Jefferson Police Chief Dave Morlan says officers executed a search warrant at two locations, one being Brown’s home, and recovered the alleged stolen items.

Brown has been charged with a Class B Felony for ongoing criminal conduct, two counts of a Class D Felony for forgery, a Class D Felony for third-degree burglary, a Class D Felony for 81 counts of unlawful use of a credit card, an aggravated misdemeanor for identity theft, a serious misdemeanor for unlawful possession of prescription drugs and 12 counts of unlawful use of a credit card.

According to court documents, a jury trial is set to begin on December 16th at the Greene County Courthouse in Jefferson.  She will also stand trial for probation violation on December 12th after she was sentenced to two years of probation for a previous conviction of unlawful use of a credit card from earlier this year.

In an unrelated case, Brown is waiting a trial date for a fifth degree criminal mischief and third degree harassment charges from September.

Court documents show that Brown has pled not guilty to all charges.
