The Young Professionals of Perry will hold their monthly, third-Thursday social event this week.
Co-chair Bob Wilson says this month is a potluck event to kick off the holiday season.
“Come to the Town/Craft Center, bring along a side dish or something to share and just come down and have fun, network, meet some new people. Beer and wine are permitted for those of legal drinking age” says Wilson.
In addition to talking with peers and enjoying some food and beverages, Jerome Hill with the Perry Police Department will be there to talk about the Shop with a Cop program.
“It’s a program too where I think not everyone is aware of, and their ability to donate or participate in it and make it benefit so many kids and families in this community. So we’re happy to help kind of foster and facilitate that conversation, as well as just have a good time for the holidays.
The event starts at 6pm on the second floor of the Town/Craft building. If you have questions, call the Chamber at 465-4601.
