Friday, January 9th

A deputy was dispatched to the 1600 block of Kendrick Street in Scranton to investigate the report of trespassing.

The Greene County Secondary Roads Department informed the sheriff’s office that a set of hay bale forks were found on the roadway at K Avenue and 190th Street.

A deputy was not able to locate a reported hitchhiker on Highway 30 near Grand Junction.

A deputy was dispatched to the intersection of Highway 25 and 30 for the report of another hitchhiker. The reported male subject was not found by the deputy.

A deputy was advised of the possible theft of prescription medication that a male subject did not receive in the mail.

A deputy investigated the report of harassment and a possible assault in the 900 block of Locust Street in Scranton. Both parties were spoken to and the issue was resolved.

A deputy was dispatched to the 1600 block of Kendrick Street in Scranton to investigate the report of suspicious activity.

Saturday, January 10th

A deputy was not able to locate a dog reported to be running at large in Paton.

A deputy investigated a harassment concern from a resident in the 1100 block of Lincoln Street in Scranton.

A deputy helped mediate a verbal dispute between a male and female at a residence in the 400 block of Madison Street in Scranton.

Sunday, January 11th

A deputy was unable to locate the origin of an abandoned E-911 call that mapped to the 800 block of Stanton Street in Scranton.

A deputy was asked to check the welfare of an elderly female living in the 300 block of South 19th Street in Grand Junction. She was found safe and well and did advise the deputy that she would give her concerned son a phone call.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all  defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
