Perry’s Gisaveri Niyibizi has won 21 matches this year.  Head Coach Trevor Kittleson feels there are even more wins to be found.  Niyibizi exploded on the scene late last year and has continued his rapid development in understanding the sport that he hasn’t been a part of for too long.

“G is one of those kids who is so naturally gifted,” added Kittleson.  “Right now, we are continuing to work on his improvement in different areas.  I think the big thing with him is teaching him multiple attacks.  Double attacks where when the first shot doesn’t work, to string together two or three different techniques on finishing the shot.  It’s all about technique and getting him to act naturally with it.  It simply takes time but G is a real quick learner.”

Niyibizi and the rest of the Bluejays will be in action this Saturday at the Perry Invitational.  Wrestling starts at 10:30 at the Pavilion.
