Lt. Governor to Visit Jefferson this Week

During National Women’s History Month in March, Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds will be traveling to several communities for her “Stories of Women’s Lives Tour” as part of her 99-county tour.

One of the stops she will be making is at the Greene County Historical Museum in Jefferson on Wednesday, March 4th at 8:30am.

Greene County Chamber Director Chris Henning talks about the details of what Reynolds will be discussing on Wednesday.

“It’s pretty exciting actually.  She’s (Kim Reynolds) going to be telling us a little bit about what Iowa is doing for National Women’s History (Month).  There are all sorts of things that women in Iowa have done that are noteworthy in business, in volunteer and civic organizations (and) in education here in Greene County.  And it’ll be great to have them join us.”

The Chamber invites everyone, especially women, to the event.  To reserve your spot, contact the Chamber at 386-2155.
