The Dallas County Fair takes place next week and there are several events and activities planned.
Judging for the 4-H contests kicks off Monday but the fair itself doesn’t open until Wednesday, July 8th.
Admission to the fair will be free again this year, thanks to daily gate sponsors. Kids and adults of all ages are invited to enjoy the carnival, treats and exhibits through Sunday the 12th, along with evening arena entertainment like bull riding, barrel racing, live music, stunt bikes and figure 8 racing.
