A new film directed by Emmy nominated filmmakers Kelly and Tammy Rundle takes a nostalgic look at Highway 6 in Iowa.

Director Kelly Rundle says the road, which connects Davenport to Council Bluffs, has many unique stories surrounding it that are detailed in the film River to River: Iowa’s Forgotten Highway 6. Some of the most sensational tales may be in west central Iowa. “The first one of course is the Bonnie and Clyde shootout in Dexter. The second is the world’s first robbery of a moving train near Adair.”
