A heads up for Perry residents and businesses, the Perry Street Department will be street cleaning for the next several weeks.

Crews will be cleaning streets from 5:30am to 1:30pm Mondays through Fridays to keep the gutters clear of leaves and from entering the storm sewer system.

Officials are asking residents to park their vehicles off of the streets during that time period so it can be cleaned.  Residents are also reminded that according to City Code, it is unlawful to park any vehicle for more than 48-hours in one spot on any city street.
