Tuesday, October 13th

Matthew Logan of Van Meter was traveling in the 36000 block of Utica Trail when a deer ran in front of his vehicle causing him to skid and enter the east ditch and rolling the vehicle.  No injuries reported.  Damage to the vehicle estimated at $6000.00.

 Wednesday, October 14th

Terry Aldridge of Adel was traveling in the 28000 block of Highway 6 when his motorcycle left the roadway, traveled onto the gravel shoulder and into the median where it came to a complete stop.  Aldridge was transported to Methodist by the Waukee EMS.  Damage to the motorcycle estimated at $5000.00.

 Erin Person of Adel was traveling south on Sportsman’s Club Rd when she entered a curve and lost control entering the ditch.  No injuries reported.  Damage to the vehicle estimated at $4000.00.

 Paul Edward Upchurch Bird, age 32 of 8601 Westown Pkwy, West Des Moines was arrested in the 28000 block of Highway 6 for eluding, reckless driving, failure to obey stop signs and no valid driver’s license.

 Angela Maria Ordonez, age 32 of 809 NE Broadway, Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thursday, October 15th

Spencer James Shaw of 6013 Glen Circle, Johnston was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.  The original charge was for possession of a controlled substance.

 William Edward Smith Jr. of 809 Broadway, Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. The original charge was for theft 4th degree.
