The Greene County Medical Center Auxiliary is hosting two holiday fundraisers for the rest of November.

The public is encouraged to place bids for the 7th annual Holiday of Lights silent auction.  Decorated trees, wreaths and other holiday items made by the medical center employees, local businesses and individuals are on display in the lobby of the hospital.  Last year’s fundraiser brought in $3,451.

Raffle tickets are also available for a quilt that is donated by Auxilian Karen North.  The handmade “Hour Glass’ quilt is for a double bed.  Tickets are $1 each, or six for $5 and can be purchased in the Gift Garden.  The quilt is also on display in the main lobby of the medical center.

The silent auction will end at 3pm on Wednesday, December 2nd and that’s when the raffle drawing will also take place.  

All proceeds will go to the Auxiliary for equipment purchases for the medical center.
