Screen Shot 2015-12-17 at 7.29.28 AMIt has been a dry couple of days but the North Raccoon River near Perry is still on the rise.

According to the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers the river is up almost two feet in the past 24 hours alone and currently nearly 5 feet about the flood stage of 15 feet.

The Middle Raccoon River near Bayard is finally receding and down more than 2 feet in the past 24 hours, but still more than three feet about the flood stage of 14feet.

Highway 169 remains closed between Highway 44 and P60 until further notice due to flooding.

Several roads in Dallas County remain closed as well including portions of 130th Street, 135th Street, 150th Street, 190th Street, U Avenue and Xavier Avenue.
