There are many positives to point to when your talking about great basketball teams, but perhaps one of the biggest positives would be consistency.

The ADM girls basketball team has vastly improved upon its overall consistency; junior Sydney Bertman has been a significant piece the ADM’s consistency puzzle. Sydney Bertman has been the most consistent player for the ADM basketball team this season as she has continued to be a defensive nightmare for opponents, and an offensive powerhouse for the Tigers.

A significant reason for Bertman’s consistency may stem from her ability to be very versatile as a player. Raccoon Valley Radio caught up with girls head coach Corey Schneider as he talked about the importance of Sydney Bertman and the importance of her consistency on the court.

“Bertman’s got to do some work down low, she’s been playing well and she’s been our most consistent player. She’s got to stay out of foul trouble and stay on the floor. It’s very vital she gets a lot of minutes and is not sitting on the bench because of foul trouble,” explained coach Schneider.

Bertman’s consistency has made her the Tigers leading scorer and re-bounder this season. The Tigers will look to continue to use Bertman’s consistency as they take on the Perry Blue Jays when play resumes on January 5th.
