Perry School Board Meeting Preview

The Perry Community School District Board of Education will hold their January meeting Monday.

Agenda items include reports on the Instructional Practices Inventory, vocal music department and district goals.

The Board will then review the performing arts center manager position, approve bus purchase specifications and participation in the Iowa NET High Academy.

Board policy revisions, fundraisers, early graduation requests and personnel changes will also be considered for approval.

The meeting takes place at 6pm in the Brady Library at Perry High School.

Dallas County Supervisors Meeting Preview

The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session Tuesday.

Items on the agenda include consideration of a scenic development letter of support request, setting a public hearing in regards to a Cott Systems software contract, pubic hearings in regards to the final plat of Carlile estates plat 2 and Pitney Bowes postage meter lease agreements.

The Board will then consider cancelling prior years’ outstanding checks, consider dissolving a law enforcement services agreement with the city of Dexter, a Hallett materials bond release request and discussion on the human services campus and department space needs.

The meeting takes place at 9am in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in Adel.
