The Stuart City Council will meet tonight.

The Council will hear presentations from Fire Chief Mike Renslow and Kading Properties. Additionally, they will discuss a change order for the downtown facade project, and receive code enforcement and annual urban renewal reports.

Plus, the Council will discuss downtown infrastructure improvements, renaming certain city parks, county grant applications and Planning and Zoning Board and Board of Adjustment appointments. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. inside of Stuart City Hall.

The Guthrie Center City Council will meet tonight.

They will hold a public hearing and first reading of an ordinance to vacate certain alleyways.

Additionally, the Council will review a draft of an ordinance regarding dangerous and vicious animals.

Plus, the Property Maintenance Code and Rental Housing Ordinance will be reviewed, the Council will also discuss bids for rental inspections and appoint a Councilor to the Main Street Guthrie Center Board.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. inside of the Guthrie Center City Clerk’s office.
