A Polk City man entered a plea in Greene County District Court from a November 2014 incident.

According to court documents, 23 year-old Rheise Presnall pled guilty to a possession of marijuana charge. The charge stems from an executed search warrant on November 3, 2014 at a rental residence in the 300 block of C Avenue. The Greene County Sheriff’s office seized $39,559 in property, drugs and cash. The Department of Natural Resources also seized another $1,840 in illegal wild game.

Presnall was originally charged with a Class C Felony for possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, while in possession of a firearm; a Class D Felony for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, while in possession of a firearm; an aggravated misdemeanor for possession of Xanax with intent to deliver, while in possession of a firearm and a serious misdemeanor for assault on a peace officer. These charges were amended to the one count of possession of marijuana.

A sentence hearing is scheduled for February 12th.
