Many Guthrie County wrestlers are competing at the District meet in Truro today for a chance to wrestle in the state meet, next week. The top two finishers at each weight class will advance to the state meet.

Wrestling from Panorama are 120 pound George Appleseth, 132 pound Noah Kirtley, 145 pounder Tyler Van Houten, 152 pound Gunner Grunsted and 195 pound Dalton Holmes.

Wrestlers form Guthrie Center in Truro today include 106 pounder Blaine Beeler, 113 pound Zachary Fees, 126 pound Brock Beeler, 138 pound Logan Scheuermann, 160 pound Cole Stetzel, 182 pound Teddy Daggett and 220 pound Cade Suhr.

Representing West Central Valley are  132 pounder Tye Joint, 152 pound Steven Ward, 160 pound Carson Waddell and 285 pound Tristan Lloyd.

Wrestling begins at noon today at Interstate 35 High School in Truro.
