As bike month continues, there’s another ride for families to take part in together this weekend.

Bob Wilson with the Perry Chamber says the Mother’s Day ride is something they’re trying for the first time this year.

“We are going to celebrate our mothers by taking them on a relaxing, enjoyable ride.  The ride starts at the Raccoon River Valley Bicycle Company, right there next to the Hotel Pattee on Willis Avenue.  This is kind of a ride at your own pace, very low pressure, everyone’s welcome, all styles of riding.  So if you’re new to maybe a group ride or maybe you’re a riding veteran, we encourage everyone to come down, enjoy an afternoon.  A couple hours is all it’s going to take, enjoy that Sunday, slow it down a little big and just have a good time.”

The ride starts at 2pm and there’s no cost to attend.
