As we’ve reported, several relays from the Guthrie Center girls track team have qualified for the state meet this week in Des Moines. The 4×100 meter relay, 4×200 meter relay and 800 medley relay, all consisting of Mady Smith, Rachel Rumelhart, Savana Fuller and Jennifer Foentes will compete at Drake Stadium. The 4×200 meter relay is ranked 4th in Class 1A, about 1.5 seconds out of the lead, and the 800 meter medley relay is also ranked 4th, and about 2 seconds out of the lead.
