Two members of the Panorama boys track team are heading to the state meet in Des Moines this week. Neither Matt Webner in the discus, or Gabe Richey in the 400 meter dash or 400 meter hurdles are in the top 5 in Class 2A for their events, so the boys will have to compete extra hard to place at Drake Stadium.

Webner will throw the discus Friday morning, Richey will run the 400 meter dash Thursday afternoon and hurdle event Friday morning.
