Frontier Road, also known as the Adair shortcut, has reopened to local residents.

Construction company Manatt’s Incorporated, of Brooklyn, Iowa, says the paving of the road is complete, but the area remains a construction zone, so access is only available to local traffic only.

The road  has been closed since April 19th and will hopefully be open to the public by July 4th.
