The annual Sweet Corn Festival in Adel may not be for another two months but preparations are well underway for the summer tradition.

The Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce is currently looking for grand marshal nominations. Nominees should have a history in Adel, professional success and be involved in the community.

Additionally, sponsorships for the “Cool as a Corn Cob” event are also needed.  Deb Bengston with the Chamber says the event not only showcases Adel and Dallas County but also features one of the largest parades and beer gardens in the state.  Sponsorships are available at a variety of levels.

T-shirts for the event are also available for purchase in the Chamber office.
