Anyone interested in a unique experience on the Raccoon River Valley Trail in Jefferson is invited to next week’s event.

The Cyclists of Greene is hosting another full moon bike ride. Once a month from May through October, participants head south on the trail from Jefferson to Cooper, which is about eight miles. After a brief break, riders come back to the trailhead under the light of the full moon.

A working bike light and helmet are required for each ride. It will be on Friday, August 19th at 7pm.

It is free and open to the public.
