Live, learn, and forget. Those are just some of the words used as the ADM Tiger football team looks to bounce back from their week one loss to Dallas Center-Grimes and take a win from Ballard at home tonight.

It’s safe to say that the Tigers commenced the 2016 season with an inauspicious start and a lot of new roles to fill. The Tigers were deprived of their normal preseason scrimmage and didn’t get a chance to take on a different team until the season began, all while finding out their own team identity for the new season. Now with week one in their rear view mirror, head coach Mike Whisner and his Tiger team can only live and learn from game number one. Raccoon Valley Radio sat down with coach Whisner has he shared a few of his thoughts on the start to the season for his team in week one.

“What I see in flashback and reflection is it really gave us an opportunity to see everyone perform against someone else. The kids kept playing and we played physical like a very physical team. Overall the athletes performed well, obviously they’re disappointed but it’s all 11 guys on the field at the same time have to preform at the same level ,” explained coach Whisner.

The Tigers are back at it again tonight as they take on the Ballard Bombers on senior night, unveiling their new and improved football stadium. Catch up on all the Tiger football action with pregame coverage set at 7:00 followed by kickoff at 7:30 on K107.9 and raccoonvalleyradio.com.
