Greene County Deputies assisted Jefferson Police Officers with the retrieval of a pickup that was stolen from a residence in Jefferson and located several hours later at Goose Lake in the 700 block of M Avenue.

A deputy was asked to help locate a Greene County resident that was the owner of an abandoned vehicle left at the High School in Ogden. The Ogden Police Department and the Boone County Sheriff’s Office were requesting the car be moved or towed.

A deputy was dispatched to help a motorist with a flat tire on Highway 30 near Orchard Avenue.

Friday, September 16th

A deputy was dispatched to the Union Pacific Railroad crossing on X Avenue, just north of Highway 30, to assist the driver of a semi-tractor trailer as the trailer jack stands had become stuck on the tracks as he was attempting to cross. Train traffic was halted for several hours as a large wrecker was called to the scene.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
