With the postponement of ADM’s match up against Norwalk yesterday, that means that tonight is the official second game of the regular season for the Lady Tigers and they will be doing so on the road in Van Meter.

ADM will be entering a match up that has favored the Lady Tigers pretty heavily in past history. In fact, over the span of the past 6 seasons, ADM has won each and every contest with three of those 6 games ending in at least a 13 point victory for the Lady Tigers. ADM will come into tonight’s contest averaging 54 points per game against Van Meter while on the flip side, the Lady Bulldogs have averaged just 42.5 points per game against the Lady Tigers across the past 6 games.

Despite the past record, each season brings a new chance at either victory or defeat, and for the Lady Tigers to avoid their first defeat against Van Meter in 7 seasons, they will need to work on one of head coach Rick Dillinger’s main focuses in not turning the ball over among many other components.

“Not turning the basketball over is the big thing. We’ve got to run and we’ve got to push the ball; when you push the ball we’re going to have some turnovers that way but when you get into the half court game you’ve got to take care of the ball. We’ve got to play well together. We’ve got to be unselfish and we’ve got to play hard as a team and if you play hard a lot of things take care of themselves,” explained coach Dillinger.

ADM will be on the look out for their 7th straight win against Van Meter on the road tonight, a game which you can catch on K107.9 FM and streamed on raccoonvalleyradio.com beginning with pregame coverage at 7:15 pm, followed by game tip off at 7:30 pm.
