The first girl/boy double header of the season for the West Central Valley Wildcat basketball teams will kick off tonight as both are one the road against Woodward-Granger high school.
The Wildcat boys squad under the direction of head coach Nick Peasley looks to complete a four game sweep with a win tonight against Woodward-Granger. West Central Valley has outscored Woodward-Granger 177-132 averaging 59 points per contest through three games. After coming off of a tough loss to Nodaway Valley in their season opener, the Lady Wildcats also seek their first win on the season. Under the direction of head coach Drew Stonewall, they seek their 3rd win in the past four seasons against their Woodward-Granger counterparts. The Lady Wildcats come into their contest having outscored Woodward-Granger 149-135 while averaging 49.6 points per game through the past three contests.
The girls game will kick off the double header beginning at 6:00 pm tonight while the boys game will conclude the evenings festivities at Woodward-Granger high school beginning at 7:30 pm.
