It will be a busy few days for Panorama athletics and it all tips off tonight.

Both Panther basketball teams will remain road warriors tonight as they travel to Ogden in a second round conference match up against the Bulldogs. The Lady Panthers march on as the conference’s best aiming for their 9th straight victory and their 19th overall win on the season. Should Panorama win tonight, it would be their 10th season in 11 years that they’ve acquired at least 19 wins.

The Panther boys squad will be looking to snap their 8 game loosing skid and repeat their first round performance against Ogden which saw Panorama put up their highest point total all season. The Panthers are in the hunt to increase their record against Ogden to 7-4 over the past 11 games with a win tonight. They will do so against one of the conferences hottest shooting teams from beyond the arc.

On Saturday it will be the Panther wrestling team to take center stage when they partake in post season wrestling in Guthrie Center. There the Panthers will square off against a 7 team field in the class 1A sectional 13 tournament. The cast of characters for the field include ACGC, West Central Valley, Exira-Elk-Horn-Kimbalton, AHSTW, Griswold, Nodaway Valley, and Southwest Valley. The top two wrestlers from each weight class will then take on the winners from the sectional 14 tournament and then will converge on the district 7 tournament in Underwood on February 11th. Wrestling tomorrow starts at noon.
