The West Central Activities Conference all conference selections on the girls side was officially released earlier this week, and with it five Lady Panthers were honored with selections. If that wasn’t enough, Panorama had one more honor bestowed as coach Dan Druivenga earned the West Central Activities Conference coach of the year award.

There were two Lady Panthers earning first team selections which belonged to sophomore Bailey Beckman and junior Devyn Kemble. The Lady Panthers had one second team all conference selection in sophomore Morgan Johnk while rounding out with two honorable mentions in Faith Powell and Hope Wilderman.

Bailey Beckman paces the Lady Panthers earning her first team selection by unanimous decision and rightfully so. Beckman led the Lady Panthers in scoring with an average of 15.5 points per game which also ranked her second in the conference. Beckman led the conference in free throws made with 108, and ended the season second in field goals shots made with 115. Beckman was very stingy on the defensive end leading the conference with 66 total steals on the year.

Devyn Kemble was not far behind Beckman also earning her first team selection by unanimous decision. Her junior campaign was comprised of 14.0 points per game average, 83 made free throws, with 104 made field goal shots, all of which ranked her 5th or better inside the conference.

Morgan Johnk, Panorama’s second team selection added another solid season for the Lady Panthers as the sophomore averaged just over 9 points per game, went 68% from the free throw line, while doing most of her damage on the defense end totaling the conferences second best mark of 31 blocks.

The list winds down with Panorama’s selections with their honorable mentions in Faith Powell and Hope Wilderman. Powell ended the year averaging 7.5 points per game and was one of the most efficient Lady Panther from the free throw line shooting 76.7%. Powell was the teams leading facilitator on the season with 46 assists. Hope Wilderman rounds out the honors having averaged 4 points per game, a free throw percentage of 53% and 12 shot rejections.

All that is topped off with the coach of the year award for Dan Druivenga ushering a team without a single senior to a record of 22-2.
