With all West Central Activities Conference teams unfortunately out of championship contention, it brings the official release of the 2016-17 All-Conference honors.

In the world of West Central Valley girls basketball, the Lady Wildcats witnessed four of their own earn all conference selections. The selections were broken down into one second team selection and three honorable mentions.

The second team selection for the Lady Wildcats went to senior Kristen Culp who was a rebounding machine on the season hauling in a conference 5th best mark of 147 rebounds. Culp ended her senior season averaging 6.4 rebounds per contest to go along with her 7.8 points per game. She led the team in assists with 54, steals with 52, and ranked second on the team in blocks with 12 on the season.

The honorable mention list for West Central Valley starts with fellow senior Jennifer Dudley. The senior averaged 8 points per game while doing so as the most efficient Lady Wildcat from field goal range with a mark of 52.0%. Dudley was second on the team in steals (35) and and landed herself 3rd on the team in total rebounds with 114.

Sadie McFarland was another honorable mention for the Lady Wildcats. She ends her senior season having averaged 4 points per game while being one of the more efficient shooters from the charity stripe at 66.7%. She also took home the fourth spot on the team in total rebounds with 86.

Last but certainly not least, the final honorable mention spot for the Lady Wildcats went to the teams leading scorer in Grace Dupuy. The junior was the big spark the Lady Wildcats needed averaging a cool 10 points per game while connecting on a team high 56 made free throws. To go along with her dominance on the offensive side, Dupuy was the team’s rejection leader totaling 17 blocks on the season.

The Lady Wildcats loose a total of four seniors off their roster in Sadie McFarland, Jennifer Dudley, Kristin Culp, and Emily Franklin.
