The Perry boys soccer team returns a lot of firepower from last year’s team that came one win away from qualifying for the state tournament.  Perry enters the season with high expectations after making it to the Cownie Soccer Complex and the state tournament 2 out of the past 3 years.  Perry will open the season on April 1st when they host the Perry Tournament.  Des Moines North, Lewis Central and Southeast Polk will comprise this year’s field and should prove to be an early measuring stick for Gary Overla’s Bluejays.  Perry opens up Raccoon River Conference play on April 4th with a trip to Winterset.
